Outdoor Adventure Camp 2009

Our Outdoor Adventure Camp was a big hit this year, exceeding its numbers from last year by 20%! The Adventure program is a relatively new addition to the Palomar repertoire. The boys enjoy fishing, backpacking, building shelters, and more. Counselor Matt Acosta shared with the staff at a weekly staff meeting what a joy it is to be able to spend that time with these young men, and what a privilege it is to share Christ with them.
One young man in particular, Matt explained, heard the good news of God’s love through Jesus for the first time! Next year an advanced program will be offered for 14-16 year-olds who have previously attended Adventure Camp: Outdoor Expedition!
